The Modern Eater was broadcasting live from the iheart Studios Saturday night with special guest “little” Rich Schneider from Raquelitas Tortillas and chef Kyle Mendenhall from Arcana in Boulder!

TME broadcasts live every Saturday night from 6-8pm on Denver’s Talk Station 630 KHOW, and this weeks show was followed by the TME Road Trip.

The Modern Eater Road Trip 2018 is under way! The TME crew with Greg Hollenback, Jay Parker, and Brian Freeman left Saturday night after the show to visit Colorado farms, ranches, breweries, distilleries and more; all to show YOU where your Colorado food and beverage comes from!

On the show they talked about all the stops on this 8 day road trip through beautiful Colorado, including Vail, Silt, Palisade, Durango, and many more!

The road trip is sponsored by Grower’s Organic and LivMobil Airstream Rental!

Food for a cause is something The Modern Eater always supports, and the TME Summer Dinner Series starting in July is a great example of giving back! The Summer Dinner Series is benefiting the ACF Colorado Chef’s Association apprenticeship program and will be starting on July 3rd and going for 8 weeks until August 21st featuring top Colorado chefs including Carrie Baird, Keegan Gerhard, Brother Luck, Kyle Mendenhall, and Daniel Asher!

During these dinners the chefs will be cooking with produce and protein from the very farms and ranches The Modern Eater will be visiting during the road trip! The dinners will be held at BBQ Supply Company with an intimate setting where the chefs will be cooking right in front of you! Go to themoderneater.com for more info on how you can get your tickets in advance for this epic Summer Series of Dinners, and don’t forget to follow their trip on Facebook, Instagram and the website!
