The Modern Eater Show 08/06/16
We are live here in Cherry Creek for the second straight year at the Cherry Creek North Food and Wine that’s going on eight years running!! If you haven’t been to this event, then you haven’t been! We have Jenny Starkey opening the show , and she is awesome! Over twenty restaurants participating, delicious food, music, beer from Stella Artois, spirits from Stranahan’s, and smiles on everybody’s faces.
We welcome Anne Frye to the show from the new Hotel Halcyon here in Cherry Creek, and this is a unique spot for you. This new Hotel has a roof top pool, transportation can be provided, and the restaurants surrounding the Hotel will make your mouth water!
Joining the show is chef Gregory Gourdet from Departure!! Yes, he has an awesome haircut, but this guy is so much more! Listen in to find out how he has come to be where he has come to be. Inspiring and passionate best describes this dude, listen to why and how!
The food here is so good!! On the show now is Rohini Saksena from Sausy Bombay and Bombay Clay Oven, and let me tell you, family recipes make the best family restaurants! North Indian food is unique, and unique is what they do!
It’s the Modern Drinker show, and although we normally deal with mostly drinks, we’re at the Cherry Creek North Food and Wine, so there is a lot of food! Meredith Ogden, General Manager of North Italia is on the show to talk abut their menu and what makes people coming back after thirteen years!
If you like whiskey, you’ll like this! We have Rob Dietrich, master distiller at Stranahan’s whiskey of Colorado talking to us about the beauty of whiskey, how it’s made and what it costs and why. This is a great segment you guys.
