The Modern Eater Show 10/15/16

We’re live from Resolute Brewing for “flights for the fight”. It’s a fund raiser for Emily, a friend of the show who has been diagnosed with Leukemia. Jeff and Kristen Rourke from A Plus Beverage Solutions are donating a kegerator for our raffle to raise money and Resolute is donating a keg of beer to go with the kegerator!

We have Emily on the phone to talk about how she’s feeling and what it means to her to have family here in Colorado who are showing their love at this fundraiser from Resolute Brewing. It’s a difficult time for Emily and her family, but in tough times is when family is most important.

We welcome Grayson Heller, co-owner of Resolute Brewing to the show. They’re a brand new brewery with an awesome patio and delicious beer. Grayson has a personal connection to this fundraiser that we learn about live on the show.

You can’t have great beer without great food! It’s time for Big D’s House of Smok-n-BBQ. Big D, or Derrick, joins the show and treats us to some smoked pork and brisket.
